Essential Thrombocythemia
Essential thrombocythemia is a disease in which too many platelets (thrombocytes) in the blood. This abnormal increase in the number of platelets in the blood is due to increased production by the bone marrow.
Due to recent changes in Federal healthcare regulations, telehealth services are no longer being covered under the temporary policies that were put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
